I Wonder What You Will Do When The Chinese
In my parents time, we could talk and talk about the performance of Chinese citizens, and it made no difference because they were not competing with the rest of us. We could complain that the kids at home smoked too much weed and didn't do their homework because the European kids were doing the same sorts of things.
We were in a game we could not lose because there was no other significant game. So, it didn't matter if our nation was lazy and incompetent. But now...
But now they are on the scene, doing what the Japanese did in the late 1800s: Doing, making mistakes, learning, doing better, and on and on. And I am wondering if we could get away with seeding the Chinese hinterlands with some high quality, genetically altered spliffage.
