I agree with you 100% I personally dont go to church anymore, I still stand by my beliefs as a christian, I'm not the best example of a christian at times but I try, I stopped going to churches, I got tired of seeing the hypocrisy. In so many different churches, Jesus wasnt about the saved and he didnt shove his ministry down the throats of people, He spoke they listened they chose to belief or they didnt, he challenged the ones that challenged him, but in the end he respected our freewill of choice, 11 yrs ago I was 18 I had been on my own for 3 yrs, I needed help so I went to this southern babtist church in memphis tn. They asked me if I was saved and I replied yes I am, The whole time mind you they were rude and looking down on me. So they said while why dont we save you again, I said no I dont need to be saved again, wouldnt that show a lack of faith on my part to ask again when I already believe god saved me the first time I asked, they went on to talk bad about other denominations and if I was saved their way I probably wasnt really saved. So me being the hard headed person I am I refused, thats just one of the chuurches out there pushing people away from god I wish you could have seen the attitudes of these people it would ve made all the difference in this story, but I've observed behaivors of people in churches that I have no faith in any denomination god isnt in those buildings full of hypocrits and gossip mongers and prideful people that look down on others from their pedastals , My denominations is god plain and simple not fighting over how to worship him but just doing it and trying not to be the person he doesnt want me to be. One thing most athiest have in common bad expierences with churches or religous authorities through out their lives, I thank god I had the wisdom to see through the bad ones and know not to take it out on him for satan's influence in his churches to day, and I dont speak on all churches I'm sure ther's some good ones, but I'm also sure now they are few and far between.

I prayed I would be led by God to the one that would be HIS will for me, not anyone else. Have you tried that?

No I havent after all the bad experiences, I gave up on churches and put my focus on understanding for myself and prayed for wisdom and understanding, but you have a good point with that, and is I guess I should do.

No church is perfect, so don't let those who fall short keep you from God's house. Maybe those people need a true Christian to show the way.
