To Have & To Hold

I married him because I just couldn't get enough of him. Because he is my best friend, because he makes me giggle, and because we see the world through similar rose-colored shades. We could have continued in life as partners, but we wanted to take it to the ultimate level. Marriage is like  climbing the highest peak and yelling at the world through a megaphone, "This is the one I love. And we are in it together. Forever."

Still so in love with this guy after one year! Even more in love!

what a sweet story!

sounds love is magical..nice story:)

Ohhhh this is so sweet! Reminds me of my love story with my husband. It warms my heart and makes me truly happy to read of real love in the world that I can relate to. Gives me hope that we are not the only ones in this world not bitter and withdrawn in a loveless marriage. Congratulations for beating the odds!

I've been married for almost twenty years and I remember feeling like no two other people could have ever loved like we loved. It was so deep and so perfect. The butterflies fade, life can wear you down, but real love is sticking it out when you're exhausted--with life, with each other, with work, kids, bills, etc. Real love is remembering this moment that you are holding in your hands right now and letting that memory guide you through. And if none of this make sense, it will in twenty years! I promise! ::laughs::

I love happy stories!<br />
