Working From Home :-)

I work from home as a freelancer information specialist. I love working from home, listening to my favorite CD's and occasionally browsing my favorite internet sites while I work, without a boss picking over my shoulder... :-P. The downside is that I don't get to meet a lot of new people and don't have any interaction with co-workers :-(. I try to get out of the house every couple of hours just to stretch my muscle... I also work out at my local gym, but people are not so friendly down there :-).

Does anyone else experience lack of social interaction, working from home? If you do, what are your coping mechanisms?

Hi. Your story of working from home is interesting? What type of business do you own? Also, if you need some quick cash or a way to discover a new type of home based business you can go here: http://greentechnologymlm.weebly.com/make-extra-cash-anywhere.html

Yes, by the time I get done with work at the end of the day, I'm almost running out of the house.

Hi Bianca,
I understand what you mean. I work from home so here is what i do. A friend of mine taught me to do web design. He does training to do websites and blogs (www.designwebsitesforcash.com) there are others, but i know him so i knew i wasn't getting ripped off. Then i take my laptop to Barnes and Noble or Starbucks and work from there. I find people who are just hanging out and I ask them their opinion on my designs. They start talking about it and next thing you know you meet some interesting people who sometimes turn into great contacts or know someone who needs a website. I make it a goal to meet one new person every time i go out. It kinda makes it like a game and i get my social fill. Hope this helps.
