Self-fulfilling Prophecy

Every second session my psychiatrist says that I'm in the middle of a self-fulfilling prophecy. I say myself it won't work or it will be bad and so it will be bad. I always looked at this like "if I know the worst thing that can happen, then I'll be prepared and it can only be better." Hope for the best, plan for worst. But now I noticed that I really managed to spoil some good things with that. If you want to go out with your friends or start a new relationship and just think about the bad things that have happened in your past in that areas... of course you're scared.

It's just ... I can't turn it off. I hate it. Sometimes I don't sleep over the worries.
