Any Suggestions?

I have always had the types of jobs that just barely pay the basic bills and I am constantly worrying about how I am going to make it.  I have been fortunate this far in my life even with some uphill battles.  Now however, for the first time in my life without a husband and child support as a safety net, I will be completely on my own financially and I am scared.  Jobs that just barely pay the basic monthly bills will not leave room for emergency savings or retirement.  I know that it is possible to make it I just don't know how and in the meantime I want to learn ways to not worry so much.

I have no advice; only encouragement! It can be done! Shoot, I'm doing it now with a whole family! My sole income barely meeting bill expenses, hubby does piddle jobs for practically change(which he eats up in gas tank), no emergency fund, and 2 kids in the middle of growth spurts! I've had to buckle down on the spending, and sacrifice some of my needs (forget the WANTS!), but it can be done! Hang in there! Hopefully, this will just be a HUMP; not a long-term mountain!
