Likewise ... I'll shack up in the next cave and we can go fishing :))

Well............ begging isn't in my bag of tricks but knowing many wild foods is...... I have plenty of clothes that would last the rest of my life...I am relatively intelligent and intuitive as well as resourceful.<br />
I can make shoes from hides and have some pretty good survival skills.<br />
I know herbal medicine to some degree and in the process of learning more.<br />
My soul is in a state of relative peace but I want it to stay that way or to have it increase......<br />
Thanks for the thoughtful response Gryfnn.......... smiles

The problem with this desire is: very few people could actually support themselves if they lived in a cave. Probably that is the reason that most religious drop'outs -beg to get by. Some Monastic Orders do work very hard to sustain their life styles--most, however, also beg. So, it would seem to me--the first thing one should do, if seriously considering "disconnecting from materialism" is to go out on the streets and start begging.....see if that works for you.....if it does--then start looking for a cave---give it a few weeks---if begging and cave dwelling gain you peace within your soul, GO FOR IT :).

smiles......... maybe we could make it a commune of caves

I really love the idea...feeling we never did become particularly "civilised" as a society of people. <br />

Blessings for you, your Cave, and all the wild foods you could ever wish for :)

smiles...........I know how to collect wild foods............I could rejoin the animal kingdom and blend in to nature ...........the way it was before we became "civilized"<br />
I believe that would be more civilized than what society see it to be.

Sounds blissful, Elf... :)
