Cajun Lite

My father is Cajun, and my grandparents have very heavy Cajun accents. My grandfather speaks in Cajun French most of the time, and my yaya has a heavy accent. My father had a Cajun accent growing up but it gradually softened, and now he only has the slightest hint on Cajun, except when he gets really excited. My mother is very average Louisiana. My brother, sister, and I all have Louisiana accents, which in my opinion sound far less hickish than most of the states around us. Except whenever we get really angry or excited, that's when the Cajun comes out.
