Using People Believes

Religion is nothing but politics weapon to use people. If there is only one God and all the prophets are from the same God, why there are so many religions?

Even all those believing in one prophet don't agree with each other and we have a lot of sub-religions!!!

You have my vote. Religions tend to divide people not unite for each other to find their simularities rather than

their differences.

I should add that I don't believe politic is bad, so I was trying to offend anyone. But I stick with idea that religions are not that spiritual! they only take advantage of the believers

I agree totally who said we have to believe in certain things so we can go to a place called heaven . Heaven is where your heart is, we make our own hell.I believe in myself and the universe.Religion is stories about really smart men who had very good ideas ,but nothing to be worshiped over to give someone else power is the sign of not being equal.we are of one.

but of course, Celestiallds, but almost all of us (especially non-believers) REALLY do not appreciate being apprehended and having others' beliefs thrown at us in an unrelenting fashion, as if there's some glorious knowledge that you can somehow drill into our heads and cause our eyes to light up like a light-bright. You might as well throw us in a foreign land and expect us to suddenly speak the local language.

One of the benefits of growing up in a patriotic American home is that I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.
The reason for all the confusion, for all the different religions, for all the evil that is done in the name of someone's god, is evidence that Satan is alive and well and enjoys what he is doing.

We have a Creator, call Him what you wish. We are His children and He has sent us here on earth to experience life, and to exercise our free agency. Many follow Satan's promptings and spend their lives destroying the lives of others. But there are many who try to live their life the best they know how and try to treat others as they would want to be treated. Even the best of us fail, because perfection cannot be achieved here, but we can learn and love and encourage others along the way.

I believe in worshipping God according to the dictates of my conscience and defend everyone that same right and privilege.

I believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous and in doing good to all.

I believe in the admonition of Paul in the Bible, "We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report, or praiseworthy, we seek after these things."

I know LV that you and the others won't agree with my beliefs, but I hope that someday you will also feel strongly about defending my right to speak my beliefs and defend my right to practice my religion.

I'm not a Pagan but I can appreciate those who are against goodness and normalcy lol

Atheists have the gall to point out the troubling fact that religious people are atheists in regards to every religion but their own.

"When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours." -Stephen Roberts

Atheism isn't a religion, it's the lack of one.

Troublshooter is correct in stating that various religions are not compatable. When people try to blend them it is usually on the basis that the followers want the same result but that does not mean that they are compatable theologicaly. Different "denominations" of the same religion CAN be compatable but merely differ on minor issues such as organizational structure. However, to assume that the only conclusion from independent thought must lead one to faith in Atheism is just as dogmatic. To say that everyone who holds a religious conviction is wrong and shouldn't wave around their faith while waving the flag of "no faith" would be hypocritical. PETER MEIDERLIN said it best when facing debates within the church "In Essentials, Unity; in Non-essentials, Liberty; in All Things, Charity(Love)"

Very well put LV, great point!

@ Lorraine: yes, but those few people who are taking advantage of religion are effecting billions!

@Troubleshooter: Well spoken, though I believe in God I don't believ in any religion, I don't think confessing or killing other's in the name of religion can make your sins go away!

Thanksa

Oh silentvoices.......you nailed it perfectly !

LV......agree it is impossible

Dearest silent voices, I completely agree that all prophets were saying the same things, and all the religions are the same.

But I believe there shouldn't be so many religions, there should be only one, and no-one shuld be in charge of that religion, which is impossible!

First of all i am not agree with you that religion is a weapon of politics. .. we should not judge religions on base of its followers or their actions..

Prophet Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (pbuh) was not against each other.. they have same purpose and same message .. its we that make all these differences and declaring each other wrong and right .. .. but we should respect each other beliefs .. and we should have at least good understanding of each other differences.. .. and i am muslim i believe that each religion promote peace and love but some time we link few people bad actions to whole religion and whole nation .. which i feel and think is not fair..

God bless us all..

Regards

Do you think that Moses, Jesus, Mohammed and all other prophets would be against each other? I am sure that God never wanted all these religions and fights.

Satan also is a deceiver and creates confusion to cloud truth.

I agree that the state can also sometimes enjoy this confusion and politics often merges with religion....a place it should not be
