I Would Much Rather Be Single Than Unhappily Married
Today during dinner, it happend again! I'm blowing off some steam, venting about my job to my husband and..............his cell phone rings. This is a fairly common occurance during dinner, and it's almost always 'family'. My husband is retired, so he's available ALL DAY, EVERYDAY to talk to whom ever he wants. I however commute 400 miles a week, to an emotionally toxic environment and I'm stressed out at the end of the day.
Dinner is about the only time I get his undivided attention, because he's either watching sports on tv, or reading about sports on the computer.
So, I'm upset about these phone calls during dinner, because I think it's rude for 'family' to call when they KNOW I have just gotten home from the pit!
Am I being a big baby about this? Do I just need to drop it and accept this is the way it's going to be? Should I just find someone else to talk to?
