Or Is It Better to Be With the "Wrong" Person and Not Alone?
today i had a conversation like this with a guy from work:
he - do you have a boyfriend?
i - no
he - why not?
i - i am not really looking, besides it needs to be the right person.
he - why does it need to be the right person? why can't it be just a person you feel ok with and that gives you another point of view about life? i am never single longer than a month. i just like to be with people and be able to share my life with them.
i was actually ready to start a good discussion with him and to convince him he was wrong, that people should not settle for less than they want. but what he said was so simplistic and somehow so down-to-earth and sincere, that it got me thinking.
i am actually still thinking about it and questioning if my approach is just too unrealistic...
