just joined this group because i definitley want to be myself and disliked than fake abd adored. yeah i am no oil painting or popular with everyone but maybe that is because when i am honest to others they get the hump. i cannot lie just because i do not want to cause offence if i am asked for my opinion then if find people criticise me. those who are my friends like me for who i am and that is all that matters to me. i really feel sorry for those who are fake and adored because those who i know are really insecure, have plastic enhancements or in huge debt because they are extravangant with money they don't have to treat "friends". good luck to them though but i am happy being me!!

I am with you on this one. I don't comb my hair like the "In" people do. I don't wear the clothes they wear. I don't spend $200 for a pair of sneakers. I buy cheap sunglasses, not the $300 a pair designers. I don't drive a German sports car like the guys at work do. I am just simple me!

Love me, hate me, maybe even ..don't think about me, I am ok with it! Why? Because I like myself!

  Well I do know that my friend like me because of me, not my bank account or clothes I wear. That means alot to me.

I agree with this, most definitely. I can't say it doesn't bother me if people dislike me, but, I won't change because of it. Great post!

Totally agreed. The fake and phoney get ugly quick. Beauty does come from within. No surgeon or amount of money can buy a beautiful personality.
