i feel the same way. i have only ever been myself and hated for it. popularity through fakery never sat well with me and even trying to proved to be too much work (faking it that is). so myself, stories and all is myself. good on you for being you.

I fully agree with you on this. While the words of Socrates ring true on the subject..."The surest and shortest way to live life with honor is to be in reality what you appear to be"...it's worth it in the long run to be true to yourself.

I really would. And I don't judge either. But I also wouldn't call myself brave. I'm a sad, scared little girl sometimes that cries into a big bowl of ice cream. Yet I still would rather have no one close to me than be fake.

sumtimes i wonder at yr bravery here . . . wuld u Really prefer being disliked and being real than being liked and kind of fake? i've been thru this, and i while this is true 2 my experience, i dont judge ppl that are fake to get liked. ppl that aren't liked pay a heavy price for their unpopularity sumtimes.
