I Would Rather Be Poor Than Alone

I grew up in the "working poor" income bracket. I know where I come from. I will never forget where I come from.

But during that time, I was frequently lonely. Right now, I have more than enough money for a good life (provided I don't have to go to the doctor), but I would rather have that special someone I love... Even if I was back to being homeless and crashing with friends or at motels.

    I kinda know what you mean. I'm both poor & lonely & I think I'd choose to stay poor as long as I weren't so alone all the time.
