I Would Rather Have A Job Than Own A Business!

I own a business and let me say,. in my fifth yr. I am overwhelmed by the marriage of it. I work work work,. there's the hours at the business,. the hours of maintenance (since the bus.is on the same property) then the regular chores at home dishes, laundry, time of myself for my child and husband, time for our dogs, and then any repairs(and believe me something is always breaking down) then the scheduleing, phone calls, people calling in sick, someone or something is hurt needs med. attention, blah, blah but the thing I miss most about having a clock-in clock -out job is the CLOCKING OUT!! You never get to just clock out and enjoy a quiet evening. Some might say that it is bad managing or just in the "cards" but truly I love what I do but it steals your life.  I am torn between just letting it go and living with the missery.

    I just started my own Internet business selling health supplements, jewelry, makeup and incentive programs for company's and individuals for special occasions. I love the product and believe in it but after my first sale of $130.00 I looked up my profit from that sale and it showed $27.00. I think that is unacceptable, what do you think? I need advice badly.

    the bad thing is I can't "clock out" I have a business where you are "on" all the time. There are four shifts a day. Like Dairy farming or med. student. I get breaks in between.. but it is a life commitment . I just need to decide if it is what I want to do every day. I can't decide! I'm good at living in the misery!lol

    As hard as it seems, you have to set boundries and have priorities. Do the important things first, then put out the fires on a need to basis. When you "clock out" at your business, do just that. Leave it behind and enjoy the other things or else burnout will prevail. Be proud of your accomplishments and enjoy life WITH balance. Blessings to you and yours.
