And It Has Saved My Life

Writing has saved me when nothing else could. When I felt lost, betrayed, broken, alone, forgotten, helpless, invisible; when I felt the end was nigh and there was no reason worth living. When I feel so happy I can barely contain it.

Some people express themselves through body language and facial expressions and spoken words. I've always been too good at hiding my emotions except from those who know where to look: at my notebooks, at my art accounts, at my writings.

Keep writing, and may you become more acquainted with joy.
