I Write Dark Poetry
I hear the drip
feel the pain and breath in
I feel the heat
Of my crimson red skin
I feel the dizziness
sense the rope
feel the friction
loose all hope
I hear the drip
suffer more and breath in
Feel the ribs
that are piercing my skin
feel betrayal
sense the hands
hear a pop
Understand
I hear the drip
and take a slow ragged breath
I feel nothing more
See nothing less
feel the bandages
sense the thread
and they know
I'd rather be dead
feel the pain and breath in
I feel the heat
Of my crimson red skin
I feel the dizziness
sense the rope
feel the friction
loose all hope
I hear the drip
suffer more and breath in
Feel the ribs
that are piercing my skin
feel betrayal
sense the hands
hear a pop
Understand
I hear the drip
and take a slow ragged breath
I feel nothing more
See nothing less
feel the bandages
sense the thread
and they know
I'd rather be dead
