Choices twist me,
Safety or for growth
One is known, the other not;
I'm unsure how to cope.

I could remain inside my Nest,
Eternally unfledged
Of course, it's very safe...
But then I'd lose my edge.

My other choice is fraught with risk,
Because it welcomes change
The chance of looking like a fool,
Of being Other, strange.

Whichever way, I've got to choose,
Something has to give
Limbo is a stage to pass...
A wretched place to live.
