Sweathouse Blues

A personal story in the experience: I Write Poetry
(sung to the tune of Roadhouse Blues by the Doors)

Ah keep your eyes on the screen,

your fingers on the mouse wheel.

Keep your eyes on the screen

Your fingers on the mouse wheel.

Yeah, we're goin' to the sweathouse,

gonna have a REAL dull-time.

Yeah the back of the sweathouse,

They’ve got some CUE-BICK-UHLS.

Yeah the back of the sweathouse,

 they got some CUE-BICK-UHLS.

They chant to the tugboats

and make 'em turn to hulls.

Boy you Tow baby Tow.

Boy you Tow baby Tow.

Boy you Tow baby Tow.

Boy you Tow ALL DAY LONG.

Do it Robby, do it.

You gotta go, go, go,

You gotta free your soul alright.

Go go go go

a-free your soul …

kaka kootcha …

Shackled  lady

Shackled  lady

Give up your dough.

Give up your dough.

Save our freedom.

Save our lovin’.

Ah, right now.

Well I woke up this morning and I got my friend a beer.

Yeah I woke up this morning and I got my gal a beer.

Yeah slavery's certain and oppression's always near.

Boy you Tow baby Tow.

Boy you Tow baby Tow.

Boy you Tow baby Tow.

Boy you Tow ALL DAY LONG.
