I Write Poetry
its arms are spread out wide,
waiting with pride,
knowing it wont be anymore cast aside
I close my eyes that just cried,
i reach out and into the embrace i slide,
that feeling of hope just died.
it reminds me of what i said,
that i could live without shedding a drop of red,
its telling me to wake up because i was misled.
the glimmering metal shimmers in my eyes,
Oh that beauty i so despise,
but i hear my heart call for it, its desperate cries.
the metal is reminding me,
always there for me will it be,
i will always be able to rely on thee,
the only choice is to stand alone i see.
it welcomes me back, i have no where to flee.
waiting with pride,
knowing it wont be anymore cast aside
I close my eyes that just cried,
i reach out and into the embrace i slide,
that feeling of hope just died.
it reminds me of what i said,
that i could live without shedding a drop of red,
its telling me to wake up because i was misled.
the glimmering metal shimmers in my eyes,
Oh that beauty i so despise,
but i hear my heart call for it, its desperate cries.
the metal is reminding me,
always there for me will it be,
i will always be able to rely on thee,
the only choice is to stand alone i see.
it welcomes me back, i have no where to flee.
