path in life shared,where at the end love is expected.
But only to find the question
is this love?
We say it,
but do we both mean it?
We trust each other,
but is it 100%.
We like different things,
but in love don't you share what is different?
We spend all the time we can together,
but is it enough?
A feeling of emptiness,
when they are gone.
Although is it love,
when they are with me?
Years have gone by, the path is one,
and my exploration of love is over.
But did we ever love,
or did we only find the fear of loneliness?

| Posted Nov 6th, 2009 at 1:38AM Lots of definitions of love, but here's my perspective. I found out, after years of loving a woman, that I was utterly IN LOVE with her. I found it out when she died. And for a year, all I could do was stare at the T.V., or work, or hide in the dark. I don't remember what I watched, I could not find the energy to read, I did not write. All I wanted was to die, and empty the ache inside me. The year has passed, my life is better, I love someone new. But it isn't the same. Maybe, if we get the same 20 years I had with Rita. |
