Slowly Leaving

What is this never ending flow?
The drip of the IV slowly draining my soul,
I cant smile anymore for I've grown tired,
How heavy, my mask, lays on my breast,
I can not breath.

Find me air, water, and the sun,
My life is dying in this desert,
midst of beautiful death.
Find me one day where my remnants stand.
Fighting the sun for immortality,

Basking slowly baking i find no more fight.
Once i was alive, breathing, softly.
One day someone will pull the plug.
I shall be grateful.
