Decadent Invention

A decadent mind will slip and slide.
I am where the good thoughts hide.
I see so much, yet say not enough.
This mysterious world can be so rough.
Some men scavenge to source their need,
Others break hearts to watch them bleed.
I strive hard to avoid such callous trapping
Lest to suffer that pain of emotional crapping.
Each time we play in apprehension.
You whirl my mind to new invention.
