I Write Poetry
It hurts to cry when you have no reason at all
You ask yourself why and search for your deepest soul
You find yourself lost.... Finding nothing at all
And it hurts, you find yourself alone.
You want to shout out loud because it confuses you
The thoughts are killing you, your conscience is blaming you
Time is running out, you try to run too fast
But where will you go if your past is haunting you?
You become a slave, a slave to yourself
You're in solitude, you wait for your death
Nobody wants you, not even yourself
What will you do if your enemy is you?
Run as fast as you can!
But how can you escape from yourself?
