The soul connected by what account, is it fate that your name jumped out
There one the screen it flashed before me, your words tearing into my soul
Pictures flashing through my mind.
A hesitant start as I wrote to you, a stranger then
What to say my mind raced, not wanting to offend
Somehow I managed to write my first lines
To a stranger, now a trusted friend.

How beautifully you capture the tentativeness of approaching a fellow poet with admiration. And desiring of friendship. There are so many brilliant poets here both men and women. I haven't had the ability to focus and to write much lately. But I look to my circle poets and the others here for the uplifting of my spirit daily. They give me strength through their powerful words. I thank you too-a new friend and poet. Kisses....

Good poetry makes people feel and think. This post had me thinking a great deal.<br />
