The Day He Killed A Butterfly.

he did it...
he murdered it...
took away its beauty...
all because it landed on his hand...
why are we humans so violent...
why must we kill the innocent...
this butterfly was violet-blue...
and inside it thought like me and you...
it cared for the world and did no harm to anyone...
yet he squashed it like a bully or a murderer....
he laughed as he saw it stiffen and shudder ..
oh who would kill a butterfly...
for we resemble them inside...
maybe thats wherewe deny...
and fall to our demise...
because in truth we all have killed a butterfly...
deep inside our conscience soul ...
whenever we have told...
ourselves that we are ugly or impractical...
we kill a butterfly within our soul..
