Burning Out

Life is cold,
It is like the ice in my soul,
I am fighting to survive,
But the pain kicks in,
I see no lights,
Only staring into the dark,
I am too empty,
Scared and alone,
I am crying inside,
I am crying outside,
Cruelty is a sin,
A simple temptation,
The blade like seductress,
So I take the blade,
I let the blood pour out,
Letting scars form,
I am the dust,
Blowing in the wind,
Forever always numb,
Forever always gone,
I am just fading away,
Just forget my face and name,
I am just a burnt out flame.
