My Sleepy Baby

My sleepy baby tumbles down

Falling slowly to the ground

She lands upon a bed of leaves
Softly smiles and falls asleep

Wandering through a land of dreams

She dips her toe in passing stream

And there she sees a rippled face
A man it is who loves her grace

So baby kneels and reaches in

And takes my hand and off we swim

Together hand in hand we glide
Down life's stream and side by side

Towards the falls that lie ahead

She gently rustles in her bed

And sleepy baby tumbles down
Into my arms that hold her now

Thanks Sassy! Yeah, I think its a very nice dream. I liked writing it.

This is quite a lovely poem. I really enjoyed the cadence...as well as the innocence of it. Thanks for sharing it with us. :)

Thanks Kassie! I'm glad you liked it.
