Life As A Stranger

This is actually a song I wrote that everyone seemed to love so I thought I'd share it here seeing as it can be poetry as well:

Verse:
Everyone wants you to fit a frame
Place you on the wall to represent them
Lay claim that your greatness is at their hands
And when you try to rebel and defend you're bastardized
I know they're desperate compliment ******
Living a life perfect while you need improvement
Never is it ever enough, never do you ever suffice
You're considered a mistake for willing to live
Unwanted and unaccepted
Gamble yourself and throw all in
Freedom of expression is at stake
Preconceived ideas of who you're supposed to be
And prior placed paths with traced footsteps
Never allowed to step out of line
No one realizes the beauty in diversity

Chorus:
Life is too short to live as a stranger
Life is too short to live as someone you're not
Life is too short to live as a stranger
Life is too short to live as someone you're not
Break out of the frame and free yourself
And live as who you are

Verse:
Unshackle the chains of difference
The forbidden fact of of imperfection
The buried ruins of freedom
Freedom to be who you are
Sit in your thoughts and isolate
Establish you and personify to reality
Kill the reflection in the mirror
Rid yourself of counterproductive
Feelings and feelings of low self worth
They will not imprison us, they will not restrict us
Jump out of the frame and taste reality
Tear down the walls of restriction
Run head first as who you are
Knock down the soldiers of control
Force to be reckoned and an enlightened mind

Chorus:
Life is too short to live as a stranger
Life is too short to live as someone you're not
Life is too short to live as a stranger
Life is too short to live as someone you're not
Break out of the frame and free yourself
And live as who you are

As you are! (The beauty is in the mind)
As who you are! (Pay no mind to ignorant fools)
As who you are! (None but you hold the key)
As who you are! (Unlock the door to expression)

(Mini) verse:
One spin on the merry-go-round
Do not let the farce overwhelm
Life will make you nauseous
But remember to live for your personal heaven
Those that cannot accept?
You must cleanse the body of manipulation
And live to breathe what you love
Do not allow the labels to intervene
Taboo is non existent
People have no say in who they are
No limits to possibility

Chorus:
Life is too short to live as a stranger
Life is too short to live as someone you're not
Life is too short to live as a stranger
Life is too short to live as someone you're not
Break out of the frame and free yourself
And live as who you are

Nice. Trying to imagine the guitar/drum intro for this in my head.
