I wait for your text, for your call, for anything at all
I need you to be here, to be near,
I need your caress, nothing less, to be free
Of the feelings welling up inside me.
I feel so alone, so afraid and so hurt
Lied to, abandoned, and then cast aside
You broke my heart and took my pride.
