even tears froze in my eyes

creating dark circles

not darker than the shadows you left behind

Fleeting in my dreams
fading in reality

my heart is broken..colder than ice
And my days are hidden
like moles in holes
And my nights are lonesome
with frost encroaching deep in my mind

Yesterday I remembered
as I watched the embers
burning to ashes..
ashes..
as the last flame died
I cried...
