I Write Poetry
You say the world is black and white
You claim its this way or that
Now I've seen the world through your eyes
So let's cast it aside
I'll show you the world I see
So borrow my eyes
Though scratched and chipped
they are still clear
See the mountians and valleys
there's more then stone grays
and tree greens
Look past the sun and see tomorrow
at dawn
See the winds blowing
there's truly life to be seen in the winds
Now dive blindly into dark and depth
Find what you could not before
Grab it and hold it close or else it will fade to not
Feel it beat
Hear it breath
That's life outside black and white
Charish it now
Cause when you wake
Nothing will ever be the same
You claim its this way or that
Now I've seen the world through your eyes
So let's cast it aside
I'll show you the world I see
So borrow my eyes
Though scratched and chipped
they are still clear
See the mountians and valleys
there's more then stone grays
and tree greens
Look past the sun and see tomorrow
at dawn
See the winds blowing
there's truly life to be seen in the winds
Now dive blindly into dark and depth
Find what you could not before
Grab it and hold it close or else it will fade to not
Feel it beat
Hear it breath
That's life outside black and white
Charish it now
Cause when you wake
Nothing will ever be the same
