I Write Poetry
The Wolf howls in the Night.
She cries to the Moon,
“Why,why has my dear mate left?“
The Moon speaks in a solemn voice,
“He wished to leave dear,dear.“
The Wolf cried again,
“Why,why has my dear mate left?“
The Trees speak a quiet reply,
“He wished to be free.“
Once more the Wolf cried out,
“Why,why has my dear mate left?“
A Wolf comes up,strong and brave,
And with a mighty voice he says,
“He never loved you like I.“
The Wolf who's been crying to The Moon and The Trees whispered,
“Why have you come to me?“
The Wolf who was strong and brave simply said,
“I love you more than life itself.“
The crying Wolf stopped her grief then said in a fragile voice,
“You are the One I've been waiting for.“
Then they raced across the plains,
And each day they remember that,
No matter what they sacrificed,
They'll love each other more than life.
She cries to the Moon,
“Why,why has my dear mate left?“
The Moon speaks in a solemn voice,
“He wished to leave dear,dear.“
The Wolf cried again,
“Why,why has my dear mate left?“
The Trees speak a quiet reply,
“He wished to be free.“
Once more the Wolf cried out,
“Why,why has my dear mate left?“
A Wolf comes up,strong and brave,
And with a mighty voice he says,
“He never loved you like I.“
The Wolf who's been crying to The Moon and The Trees whispered,
“Why have you come to me?“
The Wolf who was strong and brave simply said,
“I love you more than life itself.“
The crying Wolf stopped her grief then said in a fragile voice,
“You are the One I've been waiting for.“
Then they raced across the plains,
And each day they remember that,
No matter what they sacrificed,
They'll love each other more than life.
