Another Day

As the day breaks from the night

It’s in the sun that shines so bright

A spark of existance turns to a flame

A flame that never burns the same

As a flower breaks from a seed

It reaches for its every need

From day by day and night by night

Rainy days and sunshine’s light

As yesterday breaks from today

That time from then slipps away

New things learned and taught

Leaves a memory of what it brought

As waves break upon the shore

What happened then will be no more

A spark of existance turns to a flame

A flame that never burns the same
