Revelation

I witnessed your suffering, past afflictions increasing your desperation

I observed a child longing for love, pushing away the one that adored him

I acquired your hand recognizing one day you would relinquish my grasp

I cradled your face understanding before long my own would crumble.

My embrace was loose although so deserving

My existence had been yours, still you dismissed it

My heart shattered twice for you, distorted like your energy

My eyes cast across the haze of obscurity filling your core

My revelation rooted in his palm when he released me

His revelation will remain absent unless I do the same
