My Generation

****-sure, self assured
strutting, slouching
rock-out, screaming and shouting,
young lives through the cool lense ablaze
under summer sun
exultant arms wave
and surge forward
shoulder to shoulder
to shoulder,
bar to stage
to toilet to bar
dont walk the line,
lean against the fence
and **** all over the things
that you might have done,
over the rights
that were hard-won

Turn your back on the rising tide,
the main stage is rainbow lit
and the next Gods have arrived.

Hmm, there's a censor at work here I see! The two words that have been edited are not too offensive and hopefully anyone reading can make the small jump to what the words might be. Still, annoying that it's the first word of the poem that has been all ******''d up.
