Who Am I?

Who am I?

I am apples and walnuts on the same tree

forced on the olive branch's knees

I am strawberries laced with steel rings of fire

fires of cascading mire

Who am I

well its more like a tie

of bunnies and babies

and dying daises

swirls of paint and diamonds of gold

mixing ideas new and old

loving the earth

and relms of birth

and shunning the girth

of widening perks.

I have blue eyes

that watch your lies

I  have hair that is real

I color fake to blend my tears.

To add my years

to bounce my fears

I hide in a box

That has a lock

that's made of cans

and pots and pans.

I invent a land

that is the size of a hand

that swirls in fairy dust

and bakes in rust

colored roses and bugs

I am a cat

that crawls on a gnat

that dances with a rat

in a bubble of steal

maybe this life is not real

who am I then

am I friend?

maybe I am a source

of water lost course

maybe an ear of corn

then what do I hear?

What is a year

a wad of time,

a tick of tock

a melting clock?

I am weak

I am strong of speech

I have a forgotten reach

Who am I then,

tell me how and when.

then I can know

If not turn around and go.
