My Poems

CONDEMNED TO FAIL

The hurt she cannot comprehend

Emerged beneath the surface

Concealed from sanity

Reaping all that is left to live for

No indemnity of endurance

Discouraged in the soul of matted innocence

Drowned in perplexity

Sinned at the heart of integrity

Obsessing the prospect of demise

Masked by fabricated satisfaction

Disorientating higher judgement

Condemned to fail...

FORCED TO RETREAT

The face in the mirror

She seemed so alive

A misread reflection

Hidden stained knives

Templated war scars

A fraudulent smile

Damaging hands tied

A harrowing style

Reality fades

Paranoia sets in

Delusion, confusion

Unfortunate sin

Refusal to heal time

Relapse on repeat

The girl in the mirror

Forced to retreat

LIFE'S BLOOD

Angels flying towards Heaven's gate

Dragging behind them the sharp blade of regret

Creating oceans of blood tears

Releasing each memory

As streams of fiery flood the wrists of innocence

The soul once so pure mangled recklessly

Between the vice of silent screams

Piercing the mind with echoes through the dark

Only to wind up beaten by the fists of remorse

Thrust in the cell of weakness

Drawing nearer the armour of forgery

Stained by the trail of reminiscence

The crucial drop of life's blood

TIME TO GIVE UP?

When it is time

To stop a heart?

One so healthy yet

Aching and heavy

Filled with sorrow

streaming veins,

Poisen infecting

Innocence

Welcoming death

Far from it's time

Tortured by the

Hand reaching

Between memories

Risen from the

Trap once concealed

In the past

The past.

Where one shall

Not venture

Afraid of

Misconceptions

Hidden in false

Security

The meaning of

Safe unknown

Believing untrue

Guidance

Manufactured only

For the purpose

Of distraction

Not a choice of

'If' rather 'when'

Grasping the idea

Of 'right' and

'Wrong'

Though mangled

And intertwined

Impossible to tell

Apart

The vicious cycle

Of answers

Becoming the

Question creating

Confusion

Overflowing into the

Crevices of

Reminiscence

Shall the fault

Be inflicted on

Oneself or labelled

Burden on the

Shoulders of the

Unsuspecting?

Only time holds

The true healing

Remedies

Lost from the grasp

Of the once

Innocent soul

No longer sure

Just how much time

Is wanted

Why be so selfish

As to reap that

Time destined for

The deserving?

Wishing to remember

As I was Before

Time stood still

Before the choice

Of making my escape

From life's grip

Nothing of great

Importance

Disguarded

Thrown from the

Edge

Withdrawn from

Existence...

With those experiences, it is then that we learn more about ourselves than we ever thought we could. Just remember - Bad things happen so we can remember what good is supposed to look like...

Just a note to say that your words mirror a lot of me... it makes me sad to know such sad words reflect a lot of who Ive been and who i am.. along with experiences...
