Shadrach, Meshach And Abed-nego

SHORT STORIES ABOUT MAN AND GOD (3)

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego were three men who refused to worship the golden image that was set up by Nebuchadnezzar while knowing they would be cast into a fiery furnace.

Now get these words your about to read planted deeper in your heart than any other words before since you were born because what they say could determine your coming fate in the great tribulation.

Their reply to the kings’ anger with fury was: “If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee O king; that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.”

It was not their faith so much on God’s deliverance, but their faith on even if He does not they would still have nothing to do with other gods and images. Their faith must become our most important aim with priority to duplicate because the times of living nightmares grow closer each day, and we need that faith to just accept whatever our dealt cards of life may be dealt as for the needed strength spiritually to maintain mental balance when in horrors that go far beyond what the natural mind can grasp all of a sudden come upon us all.

Now after the king heard those words his fury raged so greatly that he commanded that the furnace be made seven times hotter than is was normally heated, and to bind them and cast them in. Now that is the faith, love, respect and honor to God Almighty that we all must have and will all need to survive within the world chaos that is growing closer each day, and the grim truths of the realities that few want to see bring many tears to my eyes with sorrows in my heart because so few will accept truth until its too late.

All these men had to do to save them selves from being cast into a super burning hot furnace was to worship the kings golden image, and their lives would have been spared. But because of their faith, they would have neither part nor anything to do with any false gods or images. After they were thrown into the fiery furnace the king became totally astonished at what his eyes beheld. Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt: and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

There is a very powerful lesson that you must now put deeply within your heart regarding faith, for when you are in the midst of the great tribulation that will be your only anchor for survival. Read Daniel Chapter 3 about these three men of God being full of faith while making God the only priority in your life. Make Proverbs chapter 2 your director that will bring God to you as your only teacher. This story is not about our Lord with them in the furnace, but the message of the faith we must have to qualify us for Psalms 91.

Its refreshing to know there is a way to survive with faith as long as were as ants working and gathering wisdom rather than being as sluggards who expect without seeking silver and hid treasure for their rewards. Thanks for your comment.
