The LightThe girl walked into the meadow. It was a beautiful place once , but now the colors are faded and grey. A lazy beam of a red sun made her white wings seem blood stained. She was alone in this world. The last to leave her was her sister. That was when the last of the color left. So she waits in this world. Her personal prison waiting for the light. The strange being that took her family to a different realm. Sitting in the grass, she sighs. Would it ever return? "Do not fear, young one. I have come for you" Startled, she looks around. "W-who else is here in this prison of mine?" She stands hand on her sword, her white dress whipping in an unseen wind. "It does not have to be such child. Come with me, your family awaits." She ponders the voice for a moment. Should she believe this strange voice."what if I do not deserve this new chance? What if here among the darkness is my true home?" The voice chuckled. Its sound lovely and melodious. "Everyone deserves a second chance. Darkness is not your home but light." Unconvinced she called out. "Tell me how you know this!" The voice grew serious, "because you feel love, young one. You are the light. A star in your own right. Its time for you to come home, moxt mitne." Suddenly a light appeared in front of the girl. "It is you then?" She asked curiously. "Yes, my child. Now come, you have hidden in this world far to long." Summoning her courage the girl touched the light, yet instead of passing through the specter. It felt warm and hard. Looking up at the strange light, she to, started to glow. "Wh-what is this majik?" She asked in awe. The voice answered kindly, "That, moxt mitne, is the light of your kind. Bare it well and with pride in your new life." Nodding as she took the lights hand, she promised quietly, "I will, nao ir." The voice said not a word, but smiled softly at the girl. Together the two left the darkness. The prison is still there for those who seek it. The light also visits to save those who are lost. Inside all of us is light, waiting to be unleashed.
