I Do All the Time... ...

I do all the time... I love to write, and my friends all call me crazy, haha. (They're right!) I'm currently writing a book, but I'm not sure if I'll ever finish it, the way things are going now.

When I started writing my first book, it was like Lewis and Clark heading west. I didn't even know if what I was trying to do was possible. I didn't know if there was a market for it. I didn't know if I was technically good enough to pull it off. All I knew was that I had to write it. After a while I wondered if it would be a success. What I didn't realize then was - the success was in writing it. The process of writing it taught me so much and changed me in so many ways that by the time I was done I was truly a different person. As a friend who was one of the first to read it said, "The success was in writing it in the first place." Forget about your friends laughing - they'll probably laugh either way. Writing a book is the shortest distance between two points, one of which has no known location. It's an adventure.
