I am a freelance writer, as well as a freelance advertising and marketing professional. Today was a writing day, and I pumped out a huge article on Facebook, a digital blog posting, wrote copy for a business, and started another article. It was nearly 3400 words and a good 6 hours. Write. Put it away. Start the next project and write. Put it away. And so on.
Go back and read what was written, revise, analyze, perfect, re-read, a few more changes, then submit. It's time-consuming process. I am also trying to write for myself which is not, obviously, going so well.
Just wanted to bi-tch. I do get paid for writing, so it IS a priority. However, the money is not gigantic and my goal is to write for myself, hopefully publishing something within a year. Any would-be authors, or authors, please suggest on how to better my time management. Anyone, of course, can give suggestions...or, feel free to make fun of me.
