Wolf's Revenge

My kind ruled this land.

The humans then came,

With their hand,

They made most us tame.

Those few proud,

Too wild to submit.

In that gunpowder cloud,

The bullet they bit.

The weak that left,

The dogs they were.

Horror to those traitors I felt,

Death to them I swore.

But when our kind came out,

The humans came.

First a shout,

Then took aim.

We prayed to the wolf god,

And goddess of the moon,

For the revenge we sought,

Would come soon.
