I Wrote a Poem
I have a need a passion an addiction,
Being irrational and unwise is no restriction.
No illicit drug or alcohol do I need,
it is a desire a wish I beg for and do plead.
The need grows stronger every day,
i try my hardest the passion to alley.
Insane and mad though it my be,
from its grip I do not wish to flee.
I have pleaded long and hard to make,
my passion and desire as a reality awake.
Laughed at and told that I’m insane,
told that I am broken and sick in the brain.
Undeterred I beg and write and scream,
to fulfill this crazy demented dream.
Only one brave woman would I need,
and from this passion I would be freed.
One day unchecked the need will be too great,
and in my hands I may hold my own fate.
Sneak inside and hide myself well,
when the machine starts I mustn’t yell!
Being irrational and unwise is no restriction.
No illicit drug or alcohol do I need,
it is a desire a wish I beg for and do plead.
The need grows stronger every day,
i try my hardest the passion to alley.
Insane and mad though it my be,
from its grip I do not wish to flee.
I have pleaded long and hard to make,
my passion and desire as a reality awake.
Laughed at and told that I’m insane,
told that I am broken and sick in the brain.
Undeterred I beg and write and scream,
to fulfill this crazy demented dream.
Only one brave woman would I need,
and from this passion I would be freed.
One day unchecked the need will be too great,
and in my hands I may hold my own fate.
Sneak inside and hide myself well,
when the machine starts I mustn’t yell!
