Former President Bush was never a conservative, he was/is a centrist even a statist. He ran on the term 'compassionate conservative' as his hook for being elected ... nothing more.

He was not a fiscal conservative, nor a small gov't conservative. He was a disappointment in both these areas.

For me he was not a disappointment in protecting America. However, he could have handled this better than he did.

Every President rewrites past Presidents bitlord.

Get over it.

Wrong again Josie.
BUSH rewrote the Presidential Records Act so ALL records remain sealed as long as the President in Question, or the Current President, ob<x>ject.
SO they are NOT open.
Like the Raygun Iran Contra notes and meeting minutes, for instance.

Digging? It's public information, for all Presidents going back in history too.

You have got to be ******** me......Digging to find out what Obama is doing.....Bush being on the news more than Obama.......Hell I think that the only reason that the newsmen do not report when his Hollyness farts sis that they do not want the American people to know that he does fart.......tisk....tisk....tisk

i watch what all President's have done. Some i agree with and some i do not agree with.

Former President Bush was not a conservative and therefore i did not like many of the things he did in office either,

I'm quite sure you were just as curious about Bush's XO's and his record breaking signing statements, right?

we all need to move to DC. it's the only place where jobs can be found. by the end of obama's first term half the country will be on the government payroll.

This is the way it's going to be. Might as well get used to it. Bush couldn't burp without it being front page news. You'll have to dig deep to find out what this administration is doing....
