That's a great piece of music....You chose a good time to be born, gottaB ;) "A Summer Place' was often played on the radio well into the 1970s, when I was growing up :) It's a real classic and a tune you never seem to tire of hearing....Wish it was longer, though! ;)

That's a classic.

"All Shook Up" Elvis Presley (}

To the best of my knowledge after the "Battle" nada. But as I am in most occasions I might be wrong, lol.

Yeah, Battle of New Orleans kind of makes you listen, doesn't it? ... Did Johnny Horton do much else? ...

"The Battle of New Orleans" by Johnny Horton. Had fun tracking it down. This one hit wonder hit #1 seven days before I was born in 1959.

It is a timeless tune!

That's pretty cool nudeinva ... When I finally tracked it down, I found it was Billboards top song for the whole year as well ...

d10, that is the same song as I. You are a spring chicken in my eyes.
gottaBhappy, Oh my goodness, you have struck a chord in my heart for that was one my wife's favorite tunes. We had it on her phone as the ringback tone so when you called her that music played before she answered. Wow!

Just a tad older, Lilt ... Wipeout is the song I learned to drum to ... too cool :) ...
Elvis predominated for years d10 ... that doesn't make you an antique ... just wise with age, like we all are ;) ...

An extremely valuable antique!

Wow, you must be as old as me!
My song....Wipe Out
