This man's mind is broken, but his spirit is pure and his heart is golden.  I saw him interviewed once on Charlie Rose.  Rose asked him if he had ever spoken to the member of the Beach Boys who had pursued him legally for so many years about the law suits.  The look on his face I'll never forget, the man was horrified at the mere suggestion...."Oh no!", he said.   I might have hurt his feelings."...dear God.
