Kansas-dust In The Wind

Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky

It slips away and all your money won't another minute buy

Dust in the wind

All we are is dust in the wind.

This is my song of the day because of it's existentialist lyrics. We always go on about money and material things forgetting that they will slip away in time. We begin to hold having the best job and best grades over everything else; what will you do once every material thing you obtained drifts away from sight? What will you hold near after all your money crumbles and fades? Life is far too short to worry about such trivial material possessions; it is too short to worry about consequence's and living up to society's standards. We are but fading dream's, dream's that will one day run on into the daylight, beyond the circle of mortal comprehension.
