Prayer

Prayer

Prayer is a form of communication for the purpose of getting to know who the LORD Almighty is. Don’t be afraid to pray, and speak to Him about everything that is going on in your life, whether you think it’s important or not, tell Him everything.

Moses gave us an excellent example of prayer. Exodus 17:8-16 Moses sends Joshua into war with the Amalekites, and as long as Moses held his arms up they would win the war, but if he let his arms drop down, they would begin to lose the war.

This is a metaphor. As long as we raise our arms up and pray we win, when we decide to let our arms drop down, we lose.

Exodus 34:6 The LORD says, I, the LORD am a GOD who is full of compassion and pity, who is not easily angered and who shows great love and faithfulness.

In the book of Psalms there are several examples of how and what to pray for if you need help to begin to pray if you are not in the habit of praying. I can tell you from experience that HE loves a sincere heart, so don’t be afraid to pour your heart out to Him. Psalms 63 is one of my favorites.

You will never find a better relationship than the one you will have with Our LORD Almighty.

Most High, we thank you for hearing and listening to our prayers.

I don't think you're crazy, I do exactly the same thing. I talk to Him all day long as if HE was sitting beside me. And you're correct, HE answers in many ways. I hear His voice, or His answers through Scriptures, or Animals trees. There are lots of ways that HE responds to us.
YES! HE is very much real. It's sad that people don't allow Him the opportunity of learning just how real HE really is.
Thank you for commenting, I'm glad there are others that are just as dedicated and loyal to HIM as I.

I converse with God as I would a friend. I get answers by what happens afterwards - experiences I have, people I meet and what those people say, etc. No, I'm not crazy. God is real.
