Yoga

Good Morning

I do yoga at a local class twice a week and at home a couple times now that I can complete a flow on my own:) I like it outside on the patio the best when the sun is coming up. This winter i tried Yogoglo and I like it except for the cost, they have some good Yogis.

I have always wanted to try yoga. I've heard it helps ease the mind. Is this true?

It certainly does for me. There are a lot of different styles and a lot of different instructors for each style. I found I like Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga and have done a Fusion class of both. Yoga is much more about breathing than I had ever thought, The idea is to coordinate your movements/stretches with your breath. When you are coordinating your moves with your breath plus trying to stay balanced it is hard to think about anything else, you are in the moment. For me it has become more and more meditative over time. After an hour or so of yoga my mind is clear, my body is reenergized and my spirit is peaceful:)
